The Aiken Bluegrass Festival is held in beautiful Aiken, SC. Proceeds go to benefit STAR Riding and Driving, which enriches the lives of children and adults with disabilities through safe therapeutic interaction with horses. The roots of the Aiken Bluegrass Festival are deeply entwined with the love of bluegrass music and horses. When the first festival was conceived, a group of local bluegrass enthusiasts simply saw the need to support STAR. The first annual Aiken Bluegrass Festival was held in the spring of 2003, and drew and enthusiastic audience of over 750. Since then the audience has grown into the thousands and only continues to grow in popularity.

We apologize about the past spring festival, however the Aiken Bluegrass Festival will return in the spring of 2010! In the meantime mark your calendars for Mini Fest, on September 26th, 2009. Mini Fest 2009 will be held at Whitney Field in Aiken, SC. More information will be announced soon!
